Welcome to the Sloths National Championship registration site. Before continuing, please read the following information carefully.

 

LOCATION

The National Championships will be held at Champion Lakes, Armadale. Champion Lakes is WA’s new international standard rowing course and the National Dragon Boat Championships is the first national event held at this venue.

 

DATES

Wednesday 9th April  - Sloths arrive and check in

Thursday 10th April    - 1000m

Friday 11th April          - 500m

Saturday 12th April     - 250m and AUSDBF Closing Party

Sunday 13th April       - Sloths check out

 

State v State Championships are scheduled for Wednesday 9th April – please check with NSW Coaches for details / when required to be there 

ACCOMMODATION

Self contained, apartment style accommodation has been secured at Goodearth Hotel Perth.

 Accommodation types & costs: 

·          7 x Dormitory Style: 4 x single beds in main room - $150.00 per night based on 4 people. 5th person on rollaway bed available upon request – additional $20.00 per night (becomes $170.00 per night based on 5 people)

·          3 x 2 Bedroom Apartment: 1 x queen in main bedroom, with 2 x singles in 2nd room - $170.00 per night (maximum 4 people)

·          5 x 1 Bedroom Apartments: 1 x queen in bedroom with 2 x singles in spacious bed/sitting room - $150.00 per night (maximum 4 people)

·          5 x Executive Apartments: 1 x queen bed - $135.00 per night (maximum 2 people)

 

Rates are room only and will be allocated subject to availability –  please confer with the people you would like to share with to avoid double ups. Should you not nominate anyone to share with we will allocate people on your behalf. ACCOMMODATION is to be SETTLED DIRECTLY  with the hotel on departure – final cost per person will be determined by number of people in room. Ie 1 Bedroom apartment with 3 pax = $50 per person, per night / 4 pax would = $37.50 per person, per night

 

Those who are arriving early and competing in State v State Championships may be allocated a different style of accommodation for the first 2 days and  then need to move once main group arrives.

  • If you have not yet booked your flights, you can still complete and submit your registration now.  However, please be sure to email your flight details to us no later than Monday 24 March.

 

TRANSFERS
  • You will be asked to provide details of you’re flight schedules as transfers will be organized for main arrivals (details to be confirmed at a later stage based on numbers). Should you arrive outside of these times you will be required to make your own way to & from the hotel.
  • Transfers will also be organized to and from Champion Lakes each day – a contribution of $45.00 is required from all paddlers

 

RACE FEES
  • National Championships - $40.00 per day x 3 days: $120.00
  • State Championships – Race fees will be organized by NSW State team directly

 

SOCIAL AGENDA
  • Friday 11 April – Sloths Dinner – details TBA
  • Saturday 12 April – Sloths After Party / Australian Dragon Boat Federation Wild West After Party: State Tennis Centre $45.00 per person. Friends, family and supporters welcome.  Drinks available for sale at the bar.  Food is a barbecue and entertainment with a live band.  Wear your best Wild West gear!

 

PAYMENT DETAILS

EFT payment is required for Race Fees, Transport & After Party (if applicable). Accommodation to be settled direct with Goodearth Hotel.

Where payments for two people are coming from a single EFT transfer, only one registration form is required.
